The Royal Highland & Agricultural Society of Scotland (RHASS) is the charity behind the Royal Highland Show, Scotland's largest outdoor event celebrating farming, food, and rural life.
The Role
We're looking for an organised and proactive HR Administrator to support our busy HR team in the lead-up to the Royal Highland Show. You'll coordinate temporary staff recruitment and assist with general HR administration to ensure a smooth, professional service for all employees and seasonal workers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day HR operations and provide general administrative assistance.
- Coordinate recruitment: draft job ads, issue offers/contracts, and maintain accurate records.
- Deliver HR inductions and ensure seamless onboarding.
- Maintain confidential employee records and HR systems (leave, absence, training, probation).
- Support payroll administration and performance reviews.
- Manage the HR mailbox and respond to queries professionally.
About You
- Confident communicator with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Trustworthy, discreet, and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Previous HR admin experience and knowledge of HR practices are desirable.
