Job description
**The role will include but is not exclusive to;**
- Responsible for maintaining Sales and Purchase Ledger.
- Reconciliation of Control Accounts.
- Daily Bank Reconciliation of multi-currency accounts.
- Credit control.
- Supplier Statement reconciliation.
- Supplier Payments from multi-currency accounts.
- Reconciling and submitting VAT returns.
- Monthly Accrual, prepayment and depreciation journal.
- Monthly payroll journal entry.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Dealing with queries both customer and supplier.
- Working closely with Directors to provide KPI's when required.
- Be able to work independently.
- Knowledge of Opera 3 accounts software (desirable).
- Strong analytical skills.
- Production of monthly management accounts.
This role will be a maximum of 20 hours per week however the company are flexible with hours however the minimum would be 15 hours. You will ideally work Wed - Fri each week. We are ideally looking for someone who has at least 3 years experience within anaccounting sector.
- Be an effective communicator.
- Be able to multi task.
- Display a strong attention to detail.
- Be enthusiastic and hard working.
- Be able to use basic Microsoft packages (Excel Word, Outlook).
- Previous experience within a Bookkeeping or Accounts role.
- Working knowledge of Opera III would be preferred but not essential as training can be given.
- Understanding of MTD preferred but not essential.
