**Part-Time Accounts Assistant - Sage Required**
**Location**: Birkenhead
**Hours**: Part-time (approx. 15 hours/week, 3hours per day - morning only)

We are now seeking a capable **Accounts Assistant** to manage detailed client financials and internal reporting.
**The Role**
This role focuses on the day-to-day accounting needs of the business and our clients. You’ll be responsible for producing accurate financial documentation, managing ledgers, bank reconciliation and supporting internal reporting processes. Your work will directly support our Directors and help maintain our high standards of financial service.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Producing client invoices and remittance advice using **Sage**:
- Reconciling and allocating incoming bank payments
- Maintaining accurate financial records for multiple client accounts
- Preparing regular and ad-hoc financial reports for Directors
- Responding to client finance queries professionally and promptly
- Assisting with bookkeeping and preparing data for year-end
- Light-touch monitoring of client invoices
**About You**
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- **Proven experience using Sage** (invoicing, remittance advice, reporting) - _this is essential_
- A background in finance or accounts administration
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
- Good working knowledge of Excel and general IT systems
- Strong communication skills and a professional manner
- The ability to manage your own workload in a focused office
- Experience with **Xero** is advantageous, as we may switch systems in future
**What We Offer**
- Part-time hours. 15 Hours pre week as 3 hours per day, Mon to Fri. This role requires morning hours only but 3 hours can selected from: 8am - 11am, 9am to 12noon or 9.30am to 12.30pm
