McGeoch Technology Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a **Project Co-ordinator **to join the team. The successful applicants will be based in our programmes department at our production, assembly and test facility in Birmingham City Centre, where we design, manufacture, and repair a range of products and services for defence and industrial markets including ATEX Lighting, Electrical Distribution, Instrumentation and Control solutions.

**THE ROLE**

Successful applicants will be required to obtain UK MOD security clearance prior to appointment.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To provide Project Management support during bid phase and contract execution including agreed timings, cost, and specification objectives.
- Problem solving and negotiating priorities with manufacturing through attendance at production planning meetings and regular reviews.
- Preparation and maintenance of project plans using project management tools.
- Preparation of standard reporting metrics and sanitation of data sets
- Enhancement of an effective team interface between engineering and manufacturing groups.
- Preparation of cost to completion analysis and reports and other essential project management information.
- To carry out other duties that may be reasonably required in support of a project and/or the department.

**EXPERIENCE**
- Any experience in project management or project support office is advantageous but not required.
- Any Experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous but not a prerequisite for the role.
- Experience of subcontract management is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of project management tools including Microsoft Project, Office and computer literate
- Experience of working within a team-based, multidiscipline development environment is essential

**HOURS OF WORK / LOCATION**

**Fixed Days**
- Monday - Thursday 07:30 -16:00
- Friday 07:30 -12:30

**Location**
- On Site

**HOLIDAYS**
- 25 Days holiday; a combination of floating days and compulsory factory shutdown over Christmas period. All bank holidays

**CAVEATS**
