The Black Lion Hotel are looking for 18+ Hard Working Bar Staff to join our team who all work together **and help out in all areas if needed**, so someone not shy to learn all job roles, within their capabilities, But with Previous Bar Skills

New Quay is a stunning seaside town in West Wales that gets extremely busy during the holiday season, but a lot quieter in the winter months

A Bit About Us, We're A 9 Bedroom Hotel as well as Public House Serving Food & Drinks In Our Bar Area, Dining Room & Large Beer Garden we also have an outside bar that is in use during events also we have an 8 bedroom letting property.

**What Your Job Role Will Entail**
- Bar Service & dealing with enquiries for both table bookings and hotel enquiries
- Bar Service, to be able to competently Pull and serve drinks behind the bar and know drinks / measures Waiting Service as and when required
- Barista - Making coffee / hot chocolate as and when required
- Stock Control within waiting service / food service - notifying management of low stock

**Working Areas**
- Bar - working confidently with customers serving drinks, putting orders on tills, Taking Table Enquiries & bookings ,
- Hotel - carrying out check ins for hotel guests knowing how the day to day running of how the hotel works, timings, explaining / passing on information on to guests.
- Food Service - Full Waiting Service, possible waiting at breakfast time, lunch time & evening service to take You may also be asked to help KP due to staff shortages or during quieter times.

**Shifts** - Due to the nature of hospitality and the current staycation climate the job will entail a mix of weekdays, weekends, days, evenings, BH & School Holidays working to a rota, be aware shifts do occasionally fall outside public transport times in New Quay so own transport or a reliable lift is needed, Breakfast shifts maybe required which could be as early as 7am ( we cater for a lot of workers that require early breakfasts ) through too late evening /closing up times.

Training will be given on all systems/tills

**Other / More responsibilities may be given over time, we're always open to new ways of working suggestions**

Due to the nature of hospitality and the current staycation climate the job will entail a mix of weekdays, weekends, days, evenings & BH working to a rota

Pay is dependent on age and experience within the area you have applied for

**Bar Experience is desirable**, Training Can Be Given and your willing to learn - please be truthful on overall bar experience / barista skills

School Holiday/ weekends & evenings Availability is Essential

**Approx Commencement -ASAP**

**Trial Shifts will be offered, this means a full day or evening shift that you are able to do**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
