**About The Role**:
**Critical purpose of role**:
- Supporting the development and implementation of the Apprenticeship and IQA process
- To ensure the business maximises the apprenticeship to recruit and retain new talent to key roles within the transport department
- Act as the business custodian of the apprentice programme to ensure quality and value for all stakeholders
- Ensure the business stays within legal and educational frameworks to satisfy external bodies
**Main Responsibilities**:
- To support Transport managers in ensuring apprentices maximise their potential
- To manage the progress and conduct of apprentices and to be their reviewing manager
- To adequately prepare apprentices for their End Point Assessment (EPA) and to complete the relevant paperwork and processes to allow timely completion of the apprenticeship
- IQA all tutor/apprentice work
- IQA of all apprenticeship paperwork
- Manages compliance against ESFA
- Ofsted updates
- Carries out walkabouts/OTLA’s and yearly formal OTLA
- To support apprentices from an educational and pastoral perspective
- To provide feedback to key stakeholders and the apprentice’s employing manager on assessments, progress and performance
- Advise and educate employing managers on training and performance standards required of apprentices to meet the apprenticeship Standard.
In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to polices and procedure relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document.

**About You**:
**Essential Skills and Knowledge**
- Experience of working with external bodies and audits with OFSTED
- Excellent IT skills (particularly Excel), excellent presentation skills
- Background in training and IQA
- Extensive knowledge of apprenticeship and funding rules
**Desired Skills and Knowledge**:
- Train the Trainer
- Maths and English Level 2/GCSE A*-C
- V1/IQA Level 4 Qualification
- AET/PTTLS min
- CAVA/D32/D33/A1 Assessors award
