Office Angels Edinburgh has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our clients city centre office. The hours are 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday and the salary is £22,000.
This is an opportunity to join a busy team where no day is the same. Our Client is looking for an experienced administration who is organised, proactive and can prioritise their own day and come up with more efficient ways of running the office.
You would have a variety of responsibilities including:
General tasks:
- Reception cover (for reception staff absence)
- Overflow phone cover
- Credit card payments cover
- Debtors statements and control
- Client set-up forms and ID checks
- Engagement letters
- Letters to Companies House and HMRC
- Incoming/outgoing mail cover
- Printing
- Scanning
- Power point slides for training purposes
- Monitor IRIS Openspace
- All support and organisation as required
- Scanning client records on receipt
Accounts dept specific tasks:
- File Accounts at Companies House and submit CT600s to HMRC
- Review Companies House and OSCR to ensure filing deadlines are met
- Confirmation statement submission
- Client set up on IRIS
- Preparation of dividend vouchers
- Client circulars e.g. P11D info
- WIP write of
Audit-specific tasks:
- Assistance with bank and solicitor letters process
- Accounts cast and cross checks and print for signature
- Scan and file signed accounts in H drive
- Roll forward accounts and management letters
