**2nd Line Support Engineer**
**Remote + 1 day a week in Bristol**
**Salary: £38,000**
The 2nd Line Support Engineer is key to supporting the delivery of a stable and compliant end-user computing infrastructure to employees and selected business partners.
Essential Skills:
- Detailed Knowledge of Azure
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in supporting a Windows 10 desktop estate
- Experience in Windows Server 2012 and beyond, using Active Directory and other core networking technologies such as Group Policy Management, Ivanti and PowerShell
- Accountability for project / change involvement including analysis/design and support to service acceptance
- An ability to balance quality of output with pace by managing time effectively.
**Skills Summary**:
Experience in supporting and maintaining relevant technologies within a VMware - based Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (View vCentre, vSphere), detailed knowledge of Azure and be able to demonstrate experience in technical support for hardware, software andnetworks technologies across the business - within the second line function, as well as liaison with 3rd line colleagues where needed. Work with the 1st line team to embed and expand on capabilities.
**Role**:
*Support the delivery of a stable and compliant service to end-users and selected business partners.
*Accountable for analysis and implementation of second line support tickets.
*Manage incidents and service requests logged through the IT Service management solution and work with colleagues in the IT Operations team
