Web Analytics and Insights Consultant

About the role

In this role you will support our team in specifying and implementing web analytics across a variety of client solutions and digital experience platforms, and also in deriving insights from client analytics data. This work is key to enable our clients to have the insight and ongoing optimisations possible to realise their own business ambitions through digital products.

The role covers a wide range of Analytics engineering and Digital insights activities, including:

- Google Analytics 4 new implementations
- Google Analytics 4 migration
- Google Analytics 3 support
- Dashboard creation
- Bringing insights from GA data to support client requests or our internal team

Within this you will work closely with our studio team, especially with Analytics, but also Product Ownership (around prioritising analytics activity within sprints), User Experience (around hypothesis testing and optimisation), and Development (around code implementation). You would also be expected to interact with the wider team, for example through providing relevant analytics content or client insight for proposals or pitches.

About you

You will already have experience implementing GA solutions and will be familiar with the following core technologies:

- Google Tag Manager
- Universal Analytics
- Google Analytics 4

It would be beneficial, but not a requirement, for you to have familiarity with any of the following:

- Google Optimise
- Google (Looker) Data Studio
- Paid media: e.g. Google Ads, Meta, Twitter
- Microsoft Excel
- DXP technologies (Optimizely DXP, Optimizely Analytics, Sitecore DXP, Sitecore Experience Analytics)

Additional desirable skills to support our insights offer would include:

- Heatmapping (e.g. Hotjar or similar)
- Survey tools (e.g. Hubspot or similar)
- Social analytics (e.g. Sprout Social or similar)
- Interest in learning SQL / Big Query (medium to long term requirement)
