**Who We’re Looking For**:
Makersite is seeking a passionate and driven Junior Marketing Associate to join our dynamic marketing team. This is hybrid position, based in Bristol or within easy travelling distance to Bristol. As a Junior Marketing Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our marketing managers in executing strategic marketing initiatives across multiple channels. This role will involve a wide range of operational activities, including content creation, social media management, event coordination and web development to name a few.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with marketing managers to develop high-quality blog posts, articles, and other written content that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our target audience.
- Assist in the creation and execution of social media campaigns across various platforms to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
- Support marketing managers in planning and coordinating events, including webinars, trade shows, and conferences, to promote our product and engage with potential new logos.
- Contribute to graphic design projects, including the creation of visual assets for digital and print materials, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of website content, optimizing user experience and SEO performance.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in the sustainability sector, researching to identify new opportunities for marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and customer success, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding efforts.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects, demonstrating a proactive approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail, effectively managing conflicting priorities and deadlines.

**What you will need**:

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or relevant experience.
- Previous experience in marketing or related roles, preferably within the technology or SaaS industry.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to create compelling and engaging content.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and platforms
- Basic knowledge of graphic design principles and proficiency in Adobe Suite, Canva or similar tools.
- Familiarity with web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS and WordPress.
- Passion for sustainability and how technology can contribute to a positive change.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a rapidly evolving and fast-paced environment.
- Eye for good design and attention to detail.
