1st Focus Homecare is a well respected family run Edinburgh based care at home provider, most recently graded at 5 across the board by the Care Inspectorate.

We have recently increased our wages within the industry to a higher value to ensure our staff enjoy lengthy rewarding career. Up to £11.25 per hour (depending on experience) + Holidays and Pension.

Companionship - EH10

**Responsibilities of the role**:
To provide care in accordance with individual needs and care plans
Assistance with dressing
- Medication
- Meal preparation
- Assistance with washing/dressing
- Light housework
- Laundry
- Companionship

**Requirements**:

- Caring, kind and compassionate
- Experience not necessary - we recruit on the basis of your character and care values, and train you in the skills required.

Support Worker Hours - 2 days between Monday and Wednesday (7am - 2pm)

Companionship Hours - Every second weekend, Saturday and Sunday (1pm -5pm)

Female Applicants Only. This is due to service user requirements at present. Schedule 9, Part 1, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010 relating to Work Exceptions and Occupational Requirements applies.

To keep our carers safe we will provide all PPE. Masks, Gloves, Aprons, Hand Sanitiser.
