Owen Mumford is looking to invest in a HR & Health, Safety & Environmental Administrator Could this be your next role?

Providing comprehensive support to the HSE Department, our Health, Safety & Environmental Assistant will take ownership of a variety of administrative duties, including Near Miss Reporting, DSE, procedural documentation as well as support on spontaneous issues that may arise.

No two days are the same in this role You will also support our HSE Compliance Officer with various ongoing projects therefore an understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental regulation is essential.

The HSE element of this role is for 3 days per week, the other 2 days will be supporting the wider HR team with administrative tasks for all people related elements of Owen Mumford. This could include supporting the new starter/leaver processes, recruitment, inductions, managing elements of our online HR portal as well as data administrative tasks. You will have 3 set days per week working with the HSE team and 2 set days with the wider HR team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the internal and external audit processes
- Maintain, update and support the development of the Health Safety and Environmental management system
- Project support alongside the HSE Compliance Officer
- Assist with Near Miss Reporting process, including data entry
- Completion of new starter process and leavers process, maternity / paternity / adoption processes
- Supporting and updating the HRIS system
- Management of various people processes including eye tests and sickness processes.
- Management of the HR inbox, answering relevant queries as required or escalating.

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- Operational experience in a Manufacturing environment - desirable
- An interest in Health and Safety and Environmental legislation and regulation
- To be highly computer literate e.g. Excel/Word and PowerPoint
- To be forward thinking, with excellent planning skills and the ability to anticipate potential obstacles
- To be resilient, self-motivated and pay excellent attention to detail
- To be highly organised and able to prioritise an ever changing workload
