In your new role as a Logistics Team Leader, you will be responsible to lead a team to ensure the delivery of a high quality, timely, responsive, cost-effective, and pro-active service. To be successful in this position you must be organised and a team player, committed to achieving the highest standard of work within a busy environment. Your main duties within this role include the planning and coordination of the work and services within the logistics team. You will be responsible for ensuring that all the tasks are carried our safely, efficiently, and compliant to the required standard. You must work in accordance with the company's policies and procedures. Administrative tasks will also be required from you such as photocopying, filing, and records maintenance. You must be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner. Developing positive working relations are essential between the logistics team and other service lines. You will also be required to set up meeting rooms prior to their use as well as being responsible for all mail entering and leaving the building.
- Communicates in an engaging way, ensuring inspiring and motivating messages are conveyed across all teams.
- Effectively resources the team in line with business requirements and takes a proactive approach through business forecasting.
- Ensures that engagement action plans are brought to and kept alive across the entire team, creating a positive environment that contributes to making Mitie a great place to work.
- Coaches and develops their teams to be the best they can be at work enabling them to achieve their full potential.
- Brings to life the Mitie values daily ensuring they and their teams demonstrate the exceptional every day.

**Qualifications**

In order to be successful in this role you should have experience within a similar role, with extensive knowledge of the hospital site and structures. You will have good working knowledge of Microsoft packages and PC's, with excellent written and verbal communication. You will also have a positive can-do attitude with the ability to work well under pressure to ensure deadlines and targets are met.
