Randstad are recruiting for a Social Care Assessor to join Liverpool City Council. This is a full time role, offering an amazing pay rate of £24 per hour....

**Responsibilities**:

- You will have experience working with adults who have a learning disability.
- You will have to assess, review and work with adults to find them the right support - this is all under the Care Act 2014.
- Will deliver high quality support for service users, managing existing and future risks through assessment, and creating plans which ensure the individual needs of service users are appropriately considered.
- Will assist service users to engage with support services provided by both statutory and voluntary agencies, ensuring that the client is appropriately supported and therefore able to contribute actively in the community.
- Will provide advice and expertise to partner agencies and stakeholders to promote the service and represent the rights and needs of the vulnerable residents of Manchester.
- Will provide a proactive advice, support and advocacy service to victims of domestic abuse who are at high risk of harm or homicide to keep them and their children safe.
- Will provide practical and emotional support to victims and carry out individual safety and support plans appropriate to their need

**Requirements**:

- Social Work Degree or equivalent
- Social Work England registration
- Enhanced DBS

**Experience**:

- Adults
