**Secondary School Food Service Assistant**

The role is to assist generally with the preparation, presentation, and service of a wide range of food options to a high standard, whilst maintaining excellent customer service.

Key Tasks:

- To be able to complete minimum training as requested.
- To be able to carry good quality food preparation, meeting the specification required.
- To be able to work as part of a team, assisting in the successful running of the kitchen.
- To provide excellent customer service to the students and school staff dining with us.
- It may be necessary to assist in setting up front of house, including serving customers and operating a till.

Preferably you will have previous experience in a similar role in a similar environment, however if you are keen to learn this fulfilling role full training will be provided.

The working hours are 37.5hrs per week, 7am -2.30pm

Term Time - 39 working weeks

“We expect all staff to share our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and therefore successful completion of an enhanced DBS disclosure is required.”

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
