Assistant/Administrator - Procurement/Purchasing/Buyer

12 months FTC (Hybrid)

This is a great role to start a career in the world of Procurement, Purchasing or Buying, as an Assistant/Administrator to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is an exciting time to join us We are working on some fantastic forward-thinking projects that you will have the chance to support.

You’ll be provided with full training in the world of Procurement, you’ll get the opportunity to learn all about buying, ordering and suppliers

We work on a hybrid basis, and you can split your working week between working from home and in our brand-new Manchester office in Trafford Park. We have modern facilities, collaborative break out areas, onsite café/restaurant, and a free onsite gym.

**What will you bring?**
- Effective and efficient problem solver
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, utilising tools such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
- Keen to learn and work in a fast-paced environment

**What will you do?**
- You will process orders and business purchases
- You will develop great working relationships such as external suppliers and internal stakeholders
- You will carry our procurement administration such as requesting quotes, updating price and deliver records, updating systems and raising purchase order numbers in our in-house system
- You’ll manage the Procurement mailbox and be the first point of contact triaging enquiries through to resolution
- And you’ll get the chance to support the Procurement Manager as and when required, getting an insight into the leadership role
