We're seeking an Inside Sales Associate for our client in Milton Keynes, a global leader in IT asset disposition, secure data destruction and technology manufacturing services. This is a permanent position and a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic teamenvironment where building a sustainable future is at the heart of what they do.
Role and Responsibilities
- To act as an ambassador for the business, and promote the centre and its products
- To be responsible for making outbound communications on a daily basis using the Sales database
- To work closely with the Sales Manager and Sales team to ensure leads are generated within various business sectors
- To achieve agreed personal and departmental targets captured from calling data provided
- To inform potential client's on the company's products and services
- To gather relevant target customer information
- To use company databases to gain potential leads
- To be proactive in identifying opportunities for new business
- To input and maintain information onto the company database
- To deal with telephone queries
- To build relationships with colleagues and clients
- To deal with clients in a professional manner at all times aligned to our brand values
- To ensure service is prompt, polite and professional standards are kept
- To assist with other departments as required
This role is Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4.30 pm.
Skills and experience
- Degree level education or 2+ years' B2B or B2C sales experience desirable
- Excellent communication skills and an excellent telephone manner
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Good verbal and written skills
- A positive approach to objection handling is essential
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- You must be motivated, energetic and reliable with a hunger to succeed
- An interest in the IT and sustainability business
- Good knowledge and understanding of the technical aspects of Microsoft Office, CRM (salesforce) and Social Networking (LinkedIn)
- Demonstration of the energy, ability and commitment demanded by this role
