Overview:
Our **Team Leaders** here at Change Grow Live play an integral role in ensuring an effective service provision for our service users by creating a focussed culture, engaging staff to provide an innovative and continually improving service and provide leadership, support, and development to a wide range of staff.

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a **Volunteering Team** **Lead **to join our team working within our Northamptonshire Drug & Alcohol Recovery Service, overseeing our local volunteer provision. As part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work flexibly and creatively to establish what is needed to have the most positive impact for all who are referred to our service and be responsible for the recruitment and development of our volunteers.

**About the role**:

- Work in collaboration with service manager, locality managers, staff team, universities, and colleges to identify meaningful opportunities for volunteers
- Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteering within the service
- Lead volunteer training across the year to ensure that volunteering is sustained with the service
- Ensure that volunteers are provided with a high-quality package of induction, training
- Work collaboratively and reflectively with the assigned Regional Volunteering Lead and other Leads across the organisation
- Develop internal and external links to attract volunteers
- Train colleagues in how to support and supervise volunteers, providing direct line-management supervision when required
- Support the welfare, wellbeing, and development of volunteers
- Create and support a positive culture of volunteering within the service
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual statistical returns and reports for the service, meeting agreed service outcomes

**About you**:

- Understand the issues facing individuals affected by substance misuse, including carers and family members
- Proven leadership skills
- Experience of risk assessment and risk management procedures
- Experience of working within a multi-agency framework and the ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
- Understanding of Equal Opportunities and Diversity
- Demonstrable IT skills and an understanding of the need to maintain accurate records in line with the Data Protection Act 2018 (GDPR)
