**Responsibilities**
- Provide and analyse all security monitoring, triage and response to day-to-day security and cyber threats such as phishing attacks;
- Manage a vulnerability management platform, identifying potential weaknesses and implement and track remediation tasks;
- Assist review of information security risk register and liaise with internal/external audits relating to information security controls;
- Assist in managing cyber risk and security awareness across the Group;
- Monitor security key risk indicators, investigating alerts and providing incident reports from relevant security systems including managed SOC;
- Management of service requests for security events and following up with clear communication on findings / RCA generation;
- Management of 3rd party vendor KPI's
- Support the Group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in the production of reporting security events and recommendations for key stakeholders including the Executive & Board Committe when required.
- Be both flexible and adaptable to a changing environment, including working outside of core office hours as needed while having the ability to prioritise work efficiently and effectively.
- Management of outsourced SOC (KPI, KRI, day-to-day tasks)
- Management of events of interest and security incidents
**Role Requirements**
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working in an IT Security Operations role or similar Cyber Security focused role with knowledge of Computer Networks, Operating Systems, hardware and security.
- Experience in managing internal or external Security Operations Centre services
- Experience in Networks and Security monitoring, SIEM, Firewalls, Identity & Access management, Risk and Vulnerability Management, Incident management & response;
- Demonstratable and fundamental experience working within a cloud environment and cloud networks would be advantageous - e.g. Azure, AWS;
- Knowledge and experience of security principles, technologies and frameworks;
- Experience in problem solving and troubleshooting
- Ability to work flexible hours to support staff and offices in multiple time zones and at core office hours in a variety of Group locations;
- Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication and engagement skills with experience engaging with all levels of employees and external partners;
