As HR Assistant you will report directly to the Head of HR supporting the Head Office HR function.

Key duties will include:

- Answering queries in line with existing HR policies and procedures
- Updating and monitoring sickness absence data and procedures
- Preparing contractual documentation using templates
- Producing notes for meeting under formal procedures - discipline, grievance, absence management etc
- Overseeing the correct maintenance of HR records, ensuring that all relevant documentation is recorded accurately and in a timely fashion
- Managing induction processes to ensure successful onboarding is achieved
- Managing holiday requests and maintaining records
- Providing face to face and telephone guidance to colleagues and managers on a range of day to day HR procedural queries as required
- Research and collate information for the Head of HR
- Assisting and advising Head Office colleagues with recruitment exercises as required
- Carrying out recruitment interviewing with colleagues as appropriate

Key skills and experience required:

- Previous generalist HR experience in a busy HR administration environment is essential
- Excellent IT skills
- Cezanne HR System
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise
- Conscientious and reliable
- Helpful and approachable
- Positive 'can do’ attitude
- Ability to work confidentially is essential

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm

Holidays: 20 days + bank holidays
