With four UK factories located in Chester, Yorkshire, Peterborough and Dolgellau, we manufacture specialist dairy ingredients, inclusions, decorations and toppings for some of the world’s best known food manufacturers and food service operators.

**HOURS & PAY**

**Hours: 40 hours per week across 5 days, 8 hours per day between the core hours of 8am - 4pm. Flexible shifts for training period likely, to increase training quality.**

Paid breaks and 264 hours annual leave (pro-rata, inclusive of bank and public holidays)

**KEY DUTIES INCLUDE**
- Liaise with various internal departments and external customers/suppliers
- Updating computer systems with required information
- Ability to plan workload
- Transport pallets of goods around site using a counterbalance Forklift Truck
- Manual assembly and jet washing large (1,000 litre) metal containers for use in packing
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, with “clean as you go”
- Accurate record keeping, completing checks and forms for quality and safety purposes
- Reasonable redeployment around site for other trained roles

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Background of working in a food factory preferred, but will consider non-food background if able to follow good food hygiene principles
- Experienced in using various computer systems & paperwork processes
- Current counterbalance forklift license

**REQUIRED**
- Understand the need for accurate record keeping for quality, food safety and personal safety
- Confident to use computers
- Ability to plan workload and prioritise tasks
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Manual handling and outdoor working will be required for this role
