Are you a Senior Staff Nurse currently working in ICU, looking to step into a more autonomous and specialist role? TFS Healthcare have an opportunity for an ICU Outreach Nurse to join a prestigious hospital's ICU outreach service. The stunning hospital requiretheir new ICU Outreach Nurse to deliver high standards of service and care at all times while reviewing deteriorating patients on the wards and supporting those stepping down from ICU.
This role is suited to someone that is currently a Senior Staff Nurse in Critical Care that has had some exposure to outreach recently that is seriously looking to progress with an Outreach role to further their career.
**About the client**:
Rated as 'outstanding' by the CQC, our client in South East London encompasses an outpatients and diagnostic centre, a large world-class hospital; Private Care facilities, and outpatient and diagnostic centres across the City, Canary Wharf and Kent. Thenew ICU Outreach Nurse will be based in the world class.
**About the role**:
- The ability to carry out a comprehensive patient assessment and recognise areas of concern is essential.
- It is a requirement of the role to provide clinical assessment, management and monitoring of acute unwell patients as well as advise and support regarding management of critically ill patients.
- You will work as part of a team to promote and maintain the best practice in clinical standard and will work closely with other senior leaders to develop and improve the service.
- As part of the cardiac arrest team, you will need excellent interpersonal, communication, decision
- making and organisational skills and ability to work as part of the multidisciplinary team.
**About the Individual**:
- Registered General Nurse with NMC pin
- Neuro, Cardiac or General ITU/HDU specific skills and relevant experience
- Practice Assessor Course
- Critical Care Course (60 Credits)
- Minimum 1 year in a senior staff nurse role
