**Supply Chain Coordinator**

**12 month contract**

**Ashby de la Zouch (Home of Hula Hoops, popchips and more)**

As our Supply Chain Coordinator, the main purpose of your role is to generate the supply plans for the site and Co-manufacturer, create the production schedules in the most cost effective way whilst managing working capital targets and maintaining a high level of service to the customer.

As Supply Chain Coordinator, some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Interpret/compile sales forecasts into a production plan
- Compile the long term supply plan
- Monitor and review forecasted demand and adjust supply plans accordingly to ensure 98.5% service level is met
- Liaise with internal and external departments to gain agreement on production plans and ensure smooth delivery of planned requirements
- Control WIP/ finished goods and material inventory to enable delivery of the logistics budget
- Escalate service issues to internal and external stake holders
- Work closely with internal/external functions on the successful delivery of projects
- Investigate service issues, identify root cause and implement solution
- Provide forecasts of short term plans to relevant departments
- Work with the warehouse team to ensure maximum on site finished goods stock holding is achieved
- Manage material changes and write off to a minimum
- Work collaboratively with 3PL
- Manage purchase order process and resolve
- Monitor and resolve adherence to plan kpi’s

Key knowledge, skills and experience:

- Address issues proactively and responds to routine issues with mínimal direction
- Excellent people management skills
- Excellent communication skills & ability to present to and influence key stakeholders
- Computer literate - Must have a high level of excel knowledge
- Knowledge of supply planning systems. (JDE preferable)
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Good level of planning and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritise and build relationships with key contacts
- Adopts a “customer comes first” philosophy
- High accuracy with good attention to detail and able to spot errors quickly
- Flexible when required to support the business needs
- Production scheduling/supply planning, 1-2 years preferable
- Experience of working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Strong excel skills
