As the role holder, you will be working in-conjunction with Customer C.A.R.E, Logistics (Transport, Operations, S&OP, Manufacturing, 3PL (KP Intersnack) Supply Chain, Major Multi Supply Chain and 3PL storage providers. Located at MDC, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, the Support Coordinator must be a pro-active, efficient, flexible and methodical individual who can react and support business requirements. Having an analytical perspective within the end-to-end supply chain, you will be required to have autonomy and influence to drive efficiency and cost driven decisions within the business.

Communication will be a key necessity leading and providing support to team members in multi-functional teams.

The role holder will be encouraged to lead in project initiatives, organisational change, customer facing collaboration whilst influencing cross functional partners. Business acuity is a key part of the role, you will be expected to deliver business objectives within budget.

On a day-to-day basis you will have full autonomy and influence on key decisions regarding customer service and operation effectiveness. You will manage supply and product placement to ensure customer demand is fulfilled across several sites.

This is a multifunctional development role which will enable you to gain experience across several functions, using your leadership skills to influence daily operation activities, whilst shaping the future strategy of the logistics function.

What will be your key deliverables?
- Attend meetings involving the management team and provide operational status updates to the Logistics Executive team. Monitor daily stock availability reports and provide replenishment advice to UB transport and 3rd party outside storage
- Develop and manage successful partner and third-party relationships, providing support and ongoing guidance and support
- Lead customer facing reviews to manage operation performance
- Attend Strategy review meetings with senior executives, providing analytical support/solutions
- Provide analytical support for logistics and business functions within pladis
- Ability to make timely decisions and clearly communicate these to all relevant departments and suppliers
- Show a degree of astuteness to influence departments to achieve desired business objectives
- Project and organisational change lead with cross-functional engagement
- Working in conjunction with the SQSE team to ensure 3PL alignment of pladis policy and governance
- Ensure 3PL external storage capacities are available for current, mid and long-term business requirements
- Review financial costs and invoices, validate and authorise payment
- Maintain and develop cross-functional KPI dashboards
- Manage 3PL distribution relationship with KP Intersnack, provide on-going support and strategy alignment within the pladis supply chain and storage network.
