'''Duties:''' - Install, repair, and maintain roofs on residential and commercial buildings - Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action for repairs or replacements - Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new roofing installations - Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions - Install or repair flashing, vents, and other roof components - Ensure roofs are properly sealed and waterproofed - Clean up job sites and dispose of debris properly '''Qualifications:''' - Proven experience as a roofer or in a similar role - Knowledge of different roofing materials, tools, and techniques - Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints - Proficient in masonry, carpentry, welding, and fabrication techniques - Familiarity with power tools and their safe usage - Strong ability to work with hand tools such as hammers, saws, and drills - Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work at heights - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
