Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Outdoor General Assistant, with an exceptional eye for detail. Our ideal applicant will be passionate about gardens, and all things landscaping and plant related. You will be customer focussed, engaging, and professional, with a love of the outdoors.

You must have a strong understanding to ensure customers receive fantastic service by providing accurate and high-quality advice in all areas of your responsibility and guidance about the products available to them to delight our customers.

Supporting the wider team to ensure that they have the correct product knowledge to provide excellent customer service and are able to identify the correct stock item to meet their needs.
- Providing customers with guidance to find the most appropriate product for their requirements, utilising the opportunity to upsell additional products where appropriate
- Managing stock, supporting the buying process
- Keeping up to dates with suppliers, trends in the market
- Creating store displays to promote sales
- Ensuring all outside plant areas are clear from obstructions, tidy around displays and areas are free from debris and weed growth.
- Arranging customer deliveries in accordance with stocking and customer requirements
- Loading and unloading lorries ensuring the Store area is kept clear once the stock has been delivered
- Handling customer queries and complaints
- Contributing ideas for the continuous improvement of the department

**Skills you need....**
- Minimum of 3-5 years of previous experience in a similar setting
- Confident in the sale of landscaping materials and plants
- A full and clean UK Driving Licence
- Excellent Customer Service and communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Good organisational skills
- Previous experience in planning and organising stock deliveries
