**The role**

The role will involve preparation of accounts ready for review by senior staff, and /or bookkeeping, and VAT returns preparation and filing. Therefore, we’re looking for someone with the following experience and qualifications:
**Essential**
- Experience of working in practice accounting (desirable - 2 years or more, and recent)
- Level 4 AAT qualification, or qualified to a similar standard by experience
- Experience of producing accounts including sole traders, Limited companies, and partnerships
- Experience of producing VAT returns
- Working knowledge of word and excel
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills
- Good time management & organisational skills

**Desirable**
- Experience in using Xero accounting software
- Experience in using CCH software
- Experience with tax returns
- Experience producing Charity accounts
