**The Role**
- Are you looking to kickstart a career in Football with a passion for refereeing in the game?
- The FA are searching for a Referee Coordinator who will provide operational and administrative support to the FA Refereeing department.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Provide administrative and operational support to the appointment of English match officials to international fixtures and for referees for senior international matches staged in England.
- Support the administrative process across Steps 1-6, tiers 3&4, international fixtures and FA Competition fixtures in line with the changing workload of the appointing team over the course of the season.
- Provide day-to-day support of enquiries related to the MOAS system.
- Provide testing support prior to the introduction of new MOAS functionality into live environment.
- Supporting clubs, officials and administrators to ensure the efficient entry and collation of performance data on the Match Officials Administration System (MOAS.)
- Assist with the appointment of match officials to FA Competitions.
- Provide feedback to clubs on referee performances at Level 3 and throughout FA Cup & Women's Cup.
- Identifying trends in performance data, referee availability, appointing procedures and identify strengths and weaknesses in Refereeing Department processes.
- Creating innovative solutions for visualising data to be used by the Refereeing Department team, coaches, mentors and match-day developers.
- Executes additional tasks as required in order to meet FA Group changing priorities.
**What we are looking for?**
- Essential:
- Understanding of English football,
- Understanding of refereeing structures and processes,
- Extensive experience of Excel,
- Experience of databases and efficient use of software,
- High level of numeracy,
- Advanced Microsoft Office,
- Ability to create presentations.
- Desirable:
- Knowledge of non-league and grassroots football,
- Strong knowledge of English geography,
- Experience of refereeing and/or dealing with referees,
- Experience dealing with professional and semi-professional football clubs,
- Experience of data analysis,
- Advanced Excel skills.

- Please be aware that unless you are on a homebased contract, your contract with The FA will specify a fixed location of either Wembley Stadium, St. George's Park or our Processing Centre.
- We currently work within a hybrid working model whereby the expectation is to work from your contractual location for part of the week, and as and when required by the team. The remaining days can be worked remotely. We will continue to monitor this model and it may be adjusted in future if deemed necessary.
