We have a great opportunity for a Learning and Education Coordinator to join our Refereeing team within our Football Operations division.

The Learning and Education Coordinator is responsible for developing refereeing learning and educational content for The FA's Learning and Management System (LMS). Working closely with the Referees Department, this role will enhance the learning experience for match officials through engaging, accessible, and effective educational resources.

Please note, that this role is advertised on a 6-month fixed-term contract and will also be part-time (0.4 FTE) equivalent to two days per week.

**What will you be doing?**
- **Content Development**:Develop and create refereeing-specific learning content to be used on the FA's Refereeing Department Learning and Management System (LMS), ensuring it is aligned with the needs of match officials at various levels.
- **Content Adaptation**: Adapt existing learning resources into interactive digital formats suitable for LMS, ensuring that content is engaging, user-friendly, and accessible to all referees.
- **Collaborative Work**: Work closely with the Referees Department Technical Staff to ensure that the educational content meets technical and developmental requirements, enhancing the learning experience of match officials.
- Executes additional tasks as required in order to meet FA Group's changing priorities.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and well-being can be maintained.
- As part of The FA's commitment to ensuring a safe environment for everyone in football, every employee will be required to complete a DBS check. The level of the check required will be based on the activity of the specific job role and in line with legislation and government guidance.

**What are we looking for?**

Essential for the role:

- **Experience in Learning Content Development**:Proven experience in developing educational content, preferably for a digital learning platform, with a focus on sports or a related field**.**:

- **Knowledge of Instructional Design**:Strong understanding of instructional design principles and experience in developing interactive, engaging e-learning content.
- **Proficiency with Learning Management Systems**:Familiarity with learning management systems, including content creation, management, and evaluation.
- **Project Coordination**:Experience in coordinating and managing the delivery of projects, ensuring timely completion within a fixed-term timeframe.
- **Excellent Communication Skills**:Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and concise educational content.
- **Technical Proficiency**:Proficiency in using authoring tools and multimedia platforms to create digital learning resources (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate).

Beneficial to have:

- Experience in football refereeing and understanding of the IFAB LOTG
- Knowledge of the unique educational needs of match officials.
