**The Role**
The company house the only national TB testing laboratory exclusively dedicated to performing the T-SPOT.TB test. As the Facilities Assistant you would play a key role as part of the Facilities, Utilities & Equipment Team, taking responsibility for the maintenanceof the laboratories and related facilities as well as overseeing routine maintenance of building and laboratory related equipment to ensure continual compliance is maintained. Tasks will include
- Ensure all routine equipment and working environment checks are performed
- Manage and track all appropriate documentation, including breakdown and maintenance reports, training reports etc
- Scanning, uploading and filing records with info on equipment, servicing and repair
- Coordinate equipment and Facilities service contracts with related suppliers
- Previous experience working in facilities or health and safety, ideally within a lab or engineering environment
- Familiarity with Quality System concepts and requirements including GMP and ISO systems.
- Ability to organise and prioritise a varied workloads, good attention to detail
- Good manual dexterity and experience in repairing general equipment.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
