**About the Role**
The Corporate Governance Assistant works with local treatment centre teams supporting quality and governance within the designated region (London region or Outer London) and corporately under the line management and direction of the Quality & Governance Business Partner.
To aid the Quality & Governance Business Partner in providing Senior Management Team (SMT) assurance of good clinical and operational governance and compliance in regards to Legislation, Regulation and Standards.
The role also covers the monitoring process and assistance with carrying out audits, embedding policy and compliance with CQC standards through creation and maintenance of local and corporate evidence
The post holder is responsible for supporting the delivery of the MSIUK Quality Strategy in cooperation with local and corporate quality, clinical, and operational leads, and for contributing to nationwide monitoring of quality indicators, incidents, risks, and compliance. This is achieved through input into and monitoring of various dashboards and other tools, nuanced data analysis (supported by clinical leads where required), regular review of local and corporate risk registers, technical advice and support, and capacity building across the organisation. Through this work, the Corporate Governance Assistant helps to drive continual quality improvement; compliance with national guidelines, regulations, and contractual requirements; and robust risk management.
The post will hold key relationships with the corporate Quality and Governance team, support office teams, clinical and business support teams, treatment centre managers, CCGs and the CQC.

**Skills**
- Experience of working in a healthcare role, either operationally/non-clinical/clinical
- Excel - Intermediate or above
- Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, across organisational levels and departments
- Internal and external stakeholder working and relationships building
- Excellent analytical capability: able to anticipate obstacles and thinks ahead to draw logical solutions to problems
- Experience and/or training in monitoring outcomes and effectiveness
**Qualifications**
- GCSE standard or equivalent in Maths and English (Essential)
- Degree Educated/Further Education (Desirable)
