**Personal Assistant: One 2 One Support**

**Hours of work: 9:30 a.m. until 14:30 p.m.**

This is an incredible opportunity for someone with a caring and empathetic nature to assist a bright and polite man in his 30s who has a complex physical disability and relies on his wheelchair for his mobility needs.

The role requires 10 hours per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Extra hours will be available as necessary with prior notice given.

This presents an excellent chance that allows flexible work within nursery and school hours, making it a perfect occasion for mothers seeking a work-life balance to effectively manage their childcare responsibilities.

You will assist the individual with light household tasks, daily activities, running errands, and visiting exciting outings of his choice. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in providing all aspects of personal care.

These duties will be carried out in a quiet, clean, and safe home environment where the service user lives with his mother while he also has his main carer, who provides her assistance on separate occasions.

Must be the minimum age of 25 and hold a valid, clean UK driving licence to drive the vehicle covered by the employer's vehicle insurance policy?

You will support the individual on daily outings to various places, such as retail parks, seaside attractions, park walks, museums, aquariums, garden centres, and cafes.

The necessary training will be provided by the employer. If required, applicants must be willing to undergo a DBS check, the cost of which will be paid for.

To apply, you must live in Hyndburn, Blackburn, and Rossendale, or within a 15-mile radius of the service user's property located in Accrington.

Pay: £11.74-£12.15 per hour
