**Role**: Recycling Site Supervisor

**Location**: Cox’s Lane, Rowley Regis

**Hours**: 42.75 hours per week, Mon
- Friday, between 8:00 and 17:30

**Salary**: £12.72 per hour

**The opportunity**:
We are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Site Supervisor to join our established operations team, based at our WEEE sorting facility in Rowley Regis. You will be responsible for supervising a team of Yard Operatives, ensuring high levels of individual and collective performance at all times.

**Duties & responsibilities**:

- To carry out site duties and to work on all of the production lines as required.
- To supervise the waste department as required and ensure team is working in a correct and safe manner.
- To ensure all employees in the waste department are following instruction through delegation from Site Manager and in a correct and safe manner.
- To ensure waste team employees are functioning at optimum levels at all times.
- To work within and to adopt all H+S procedures that are in force at all the companies’ depots.
- To liaise with the Site Manager you are working with on a daily basis to determine work loads for the day and any problems arising from the previous day’s production etc.
- To inform management immediately of any defects that may cause any item of equipment to be either unsafe.
- Ensure machinery daily check and defect sheets are completed.
- Safely direct customers to the designated tipping areas.
- To keep the area you are working in clean and tidy and free from hazards.
- Any other tasks as required by Site Manager.
