**Job Summary**

**Brighton College is seeking to appoint a part time Minibus Driver, to start as soon as possible**.

The focus of this position is to carry pupils to and from the College safely, maintaining high driving standards, on-time, in accordance with the published schedule.

**Job responsibilities**:

- Driving College vehicles as required
- Carrying out pre and post journey vehicle checks
- Keeping the vehicle clean and tidy inside and outside
- Assisting and supervising passengers as necessary
- Any other reasonable management request
- A genuine interest in working within a school setting
- Friendly and approachable manner
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility with regards to working hours

**Safeguarding responsibilities**:

- This role will involve daily contact with pupils and you will be engaging in regulated activity relevant to children
- All staff and volunteers have a responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons for who you are responsible and with whom you come into contact

**Hours of work**:
This role will be on 25 hours per week, 5 hours per day (06:00-08:30 and 16:45- 19:15), with hours of work available during term-time only. There will also be opportunities for overtime.

**Holidays**:
Holiday entitlement is included in the salary for this role. All holiday is to be taken outside of term-time.
