**Advancing People Multilingual - Recruitment Specialists are now recruiting for a German Speaking Mechanical Design Engineer on a remote basis.**

As a **German Speaking Mechanical Design Engineer** it will be your responsibility to assist developing special product models and prints using sound design techniques to satisfy the needs of customers and manufacturing operations.

This role will also involve providing working models and drawings to operations to produce special products. You will interact continually with Application Engineering and operations to ensure that designs fit the customer's needs while being able to becapably produced.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Maintain positive relationships with internal and external associates
- Work closely with Application Engineering and the Senior Design Development Team Manager to make recommendations for improvements within the department.
- Maintain up-to-date CAD software knowledge
- responsible for ensuring that special drawings are up to date with the current best practices in design and manufacturing.
- Recognize potentials for design flaws or manufacturing issues with product design

Person Specification:

- Fluent in German
- Degree, HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering or Drafting and Design Technology & Certificate of completion in CAD
- Proficient knowledge of algebra, geometry, and trigonometry
- Understanding of basic machining processes (turning, milling, grinding, EDM, etc.)
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude
- Experience in CAD

This is a full time Permanent position offering an annual salary of **£35,000** + attractive company benefits.

The role offers flexibility to work from home / Remote working with very occasional travel to West Midlands, UK
