**Position: Male Specialist Support Worker Job Reference: 21/21**

**Hours: 36 hours per week Salary: £19,314.75 per annum**

**Based in: Huncoat, Accrington**

Imagine Independence is an experienced provider of community based mental health and learning disability services across the North West.

Our work involves delivering personalised care and support to people in their home and community, helping them gain skills and confidence to achieve greater independence, access socially inclusive opportunities, improve their health and wellbeing and support in all aspects of daily living.

We work with people with mental health needs, learning disabilities and autism.

**We are looking to recruit Male staff to support a lady within the Huncoat, Accrington area.** The post is open to male applicants only as being male is deemed to be a genuine occupational qualification under the Equality Act 2010

**It’s essential that applicants can drive. You will need patience, resilience and determination to successfully ensure that this energetic and lively young lady leads a full and happy life.**

Hours of work will be across 7 days, you will be able to work flexibly, although shift patterns are 3 x 12 hour shifts per week, either day shift or waking night shift.
