Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working with a public sector client in Glasgow in their search for a Project Maintenance Supervisor to be based on site.
Purpose of Post:
Taking operational control for the management of building maintenance, fabric maintenance, repair, and minor works. Focus on the protection of property assets through the delivery of major repairs/cyclical and reactive maintenance services. Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records, reporting and administrative systems.
Key Responsibilities: (but not limited to)
- To manage and maintain a range of various maintenance works delivered by maintenance contractors.
- Developing options and business case appraisals, procuring and delivering projects.
- Preparing works specifications and tender documentation
- To develop maintenance and minor works contracts within a commercial environment.
- Issuing repairs instructions/specifications and ensuring contractor compliance.
- To monitor the maintenance contractor's performance.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience of building maintenance and repair
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety requirements and legislation
