Head of Finance Integration and Change

**About the role** Change is the name of the game here at Nucleus, with significant change challenge currently and on the horizon. We have a new opportunity for someone to join our finance team on a permanent basis to help us meet our change and integration ambitions and responsibilities. In this role you will become familiar with both the existing Finance operating model, acquired Finance operating models and target operating model, enabling you to both represent Finance at various change and integration forums, and engage with Finance SME's as required. **Your key responsibilities will include** - Working to establish and develop a Finance change programme office that will serve inter-function and intra-finance function change and integration initiatives incorporating; - Master change plan - Progress reporting - Structural support (committees, working groups, spotlights, workshops etc.) - Change management tools (scope, cost benefit, business case, priority etc.) - Finance representation, participation and compliance with Group integration programme office including; - Integration plan - Progress reporting - Finance SME engagement - Structural support - Finance representation, participation and compliance with Group platform migration programme office; - Migration plan - Progress reporting - Finance SME engagement - Structural support - Finance representation, participation and compliance with Group change management function (cross functional); - Change champion - Change request support - Finance SME engagement - Progress reporting of finance projects that fall within scope - Using your skills, experience and acquired knowledge to champion sponsor, encourage and support a continuous improvement culture in finance functional areas - Working collaboratively with finance colleagues who are accountable and responsible for current and future BAU deliverables, pathfinding successful strategies to balance BAU and change priorities. - Regularly interacting with senior stakeholders to communicate plans, progress, status, and expected completion. - Coach, mentor and develop other members of the wider finance team - Getting involved in sub initiatives and tasks to support change and integration on behalf of colleagues in the wider finance team. **A bit about you** Your friends would probably describe you as reliable, tenacious and "super-organised". You have a real focus on making sure nothing is missed and love having a lot going on. **We've always placed more importance on cultural contribution above technical ability, but we'd really like you to have**: - Previous programme management experience - A good understanding of best practice finance operating models, systems and processes - Respect for and ability to work to tight deadlines - Reporting specialist, with a strong professional, service and delivery ethic - Significant knowledge of financial accounting, reporting and operation of controls - Qualified accountant and member of a recognised professional institute, with significant relevant post qualification knowledge **A little about us** We are the Nucleus Financial Platforms group and we help make retirement more rewarding.
