Project Engineer (Manufacturing)

Project Engineer required for a globally recognised manufacturer who are market leading within their niche industry. They are a brand associated with quality and offer a varied role within a great team environment.

The role would suit project engineerss from ANY manufacturing environment. The successful project engineer will be able to confidently demonstrate previous experience of cradle to grave project management of high value projects. Applicants from a mechanicalengineering background will have a considerable advantage. Project engineers who have experience in sheet metal manufacturing are encouraged to apply.

Working alongside the engineering team, you will primarily be responsible for supporting product development, NPI launches and product changes. You will deal with global customers and have involvement from initial conception through to the launch of theproduct. You will also have involvement in obsolescence and product end of life. In this role you will be delivering projects up to £20m in value.

Project Engineer Role:
*Cradle to grave project management

*Managing costings

*Working alongside the engineering team for product development, process improvements,NPI launches and product changes

*Liaising with global customers

*Delivering projects up to £20m

*Implementation of LEAN techniques

*Monday to Friday. Hybrid Working Options

Project Engineer:
*Must have a successful track record in delivering projects within a manufacturing environment

*Must have a strong mechanical engineering background

*Management of high value projects

*Cradle to grave project management

*Will ideally have a mechanical engineering background
