This is an exciting and newly created role within our people division, helping to shape our newly formed HR Delivery Team.

As our Head of HR Delivery, you will have the fantastic opportunity of making this role your own; setting, underpinning and driving forward the vision for our HR delivery and services.?

Your role will be busy and sometimes demanding, yet rewarding, leading a multi-functional team of up to twenty professionals across Employee Relations, HR and Recruitment.?

No two days will ever be the same with a great deal of variety developing tactical and influential relationships, leading, managing, initiating HR Strategy and providing the frameworks, tools and processes to ensure our HR is managed effectively.??

On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

- Working collaboratively with Directors and their teams to support our cultural change agenda
- Working closely with HRBPs and Directors/Senior Leadership Team on strategic workforce planning
- Enabling the strategic and tactical use and analysis of people data and customer insight to inform and drive strategic changes
- Identifying a programme of improvements to ensure effectiveness of HR systems
- Leading on Diversity and Inclusion strategy
- Engaging with the Organisational Development Team and Internal Communication to ensure we deliver appropriate products which tailor key elements of our people proposition
- Representing the People Division on critical operational boards
- Leading the HR Shared Services Team to ensure delivery of day-to-day transactional requirements
- Ensuring the team is sufficiently resourced and skilled to deliver to service level agreements
- Managing Employee Relations and the relationship with the nominated trade unions

**Person Specification**:
**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- Experience of leading a HR team, setting and delivering strategy and managing teams to deliver effective solutions (this could include as a HR Business Partner)
- Conversant with the wider Diversity and Inclusion agendas and experience of building a diverse workforce
- Successful experience in a broad range of HR disciplines and people issues such as Workforce Planning and Resourcing, Employee Relations, HR/OD policies and strategies
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of the key financial drivers related to growth and cost management goals of an organisation
- Experience of using data analysis to support effective decision-making to inform HR strategy
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR legislation and best practice with experience of leading teams on complex ER issues?

**Desirable**:

- Commercial HR management experience
- Consultative and unionised HR experience
- Experience of representing an organisation with external legal advisors
