Child Bereavement Service Assistant

To assist the Child Bereavement Coordinator in the organisation and running of the Childrens Bereavement Groups. To develop a safe and welcoming environment within the group ensuring that children feel secure and able to attend the groups and to want to return. To support and creatively engage with the children and inspire them to take part in the group environment through varied tasks and activities. To supervise and support Childrens Bereavement Group volunteers, offering guidance and support where appropriate.
Actively promote the group to other agencies as required. To assist the CBC in working with colleagues across the hospice as required Under the guidance of the CBC and within GDPR guidelines collect data as required from the group. Assist the CBC in admin tasks as required. To maintain the level of safeguarding training as required by the hospice.
To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested. To receive regular support and supervision from the CBC.
