To act as a specialist midwifery practitioner and effectively deliver an expert, supportive, empathetic service for women and their families experiencing pregnancy loss within the care of the maternityservice. To be a resource for the women, families, and maternity staff, on the physical, psychological, and administrative aspects of bereavement care. To liaise and ensure that external agencies areinformed of pregnancy loss and that all the relevant administration is undertaken in a timely manner.
