**Production Supervisor | Corby, Northamptonshire | Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 17:00 & early finish on Friday | £25,000 - £27,000**

Our client has an ISO accreditation in Quality Management and specialises in the design, manufacture and distribution of performance foam packaging solutions, such as foam inserts, foam fittings and foam endcaps. They are also suppliers of external woodencrate solutions as well as general packaging products.

With multiple manufacturing sites across the UK and key partners further afield, the company offers a local service, nationwide.

**Are you the right person for the job?**
- 3-5 years supervisor experience
- Experience in manufacturing packaging and operating large mechanical machinery would be desirable but is not essential
- Background in manufacturing
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong people management skills
- Have great attention to detail, and good verbal, numerical and communication skills
- Good housekeeping ethic
- Quality first mindset

**What will your role look like?**
- Work towards various KPIs to ensure all targets are met
- Reporting to and deputising for Site Manager to cover training and annual leave as required
- Ensure the smooth running of the factory floor to meet relevant quality and production requirements
- Monitor production output to meet plan requirements
- Lead production operatives to ensure that they are working to the best of their ability and managing their time as efficiently as possible
- Ensuring continuous improvement for the production line
- Ensure all aspects of required health and safety protocol are used
- Encourage and help develop Shop floor staff skill level
- Be proficient in the use of the computer, and using Factory Master software (training available)
- Key holding responsibility
