**Job Summary**:

**Key responsibilities**:

- Supporting Digital Marketing Manager with the execution of existing content strategy including improving, updating and creation of new website and blog content
- Regular SEO keyword research, website content audits and gap analyses of both our own websites and that of our competitors to find areas of improvement and opportunities
- Creation, management, and upload of product content including creation of imagery, product descriptions, and supporting assets
- Designing and creation of any content assets across a variety of mediums such as Photoshop/graphic design, imagery, photography, and videos
- Planning and creating new content strategies, maintaining a content calendar, and managing the go-live dates
- Reporting on content performance, learning from successes, and evaluating improvement areas to adapt the strategy and approach in future
- Keeping the team informed of any industry changes, news and trend opportunities that can inform the marketing and sales strategy
- Supporting with any in-house marketing activity including website banners, management and sourcing of freelancers, creation of briefs and liaising with our suppliers & manufacturers for product content & sale periods
- Creation and supporting on PR campaigns both in-house and agency side with research, creation of content including imagery, graphics, and press releases
- Supporting Digital PR activity by drafting and getting approval for media and influencer related content
- Creating assets for social media and assisting in creation with social media content
- Supporting the Showroom and sales team with any in-store and customer-facing assets

**Essential Skills & Attributes**
- Strong writing skills and able to write in plain English with excellent punctuation, grammar and syntax
- Strong all round communication skills with the ability to convey ideas and suggestions effectively to colleagues
- Excellent proofreading skills and able to audit and correct own work, as well as other teammates
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
- Ability to be autonomous and take responsibility for your own workload with strong planning skills
- Adaptable and team-player since you will be supporting across several different areas
- Confident and happy to put forward ideas, suggestions and help innovate to build and improve our processes
- Down-to-earth and friendly since you will be joining a small team and family business
- Knowledge of social media best practise and platforms

**Desirable but not essential**
- Knowledge of Adobe suite of products such as InDesign, Photoshop and Fireworks, or equivalent software
- Experience and knowledge of SEO (search engine optimisation), search marketing and Keyword research
- Knowledge of search engine tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google Trends
- Experience of working in an in-house marketing team in a retail or KBB (Kitchen, Bathroom, Bedroom) environment
- Knowledge of bathrooms and bathroom products would be favourable but not essential as full training will be given
- Experience of using bespoke CMS platforms or packaged CMS platforms such as Shopify, Magento

**Job Package (included as minimum)**
- Salary of £19,000-£22,000
