Southampton Business School (SBS) is placed at the centre of the University of Southampton - a top 100 University in the world and a founding member of the Russell Group of elite research UK universities. SBS hosts a vibrant and diverse community of scholars and students. The School has an ambitious growth plan, which includes investments in people and facilities. The school has recently relocated to a state of art business building.

Building on this success, in July 2022, the School secured AMBA 5-year re-accreditation of the MBA programme which is ranked 13th in the UK (QS data) and its AACSB accreditation was recently re-extended for another full period of 5 years. A member of the UNPRM, our commitment to the SDGs was also recognised through the GRI accreditation. The school holds the CABS Small Business Charter award in recognition of the SBS’ world-class support to students and local businesses, including the development of student entrepreneurial skills and the support and development of wider economic and social opportunities for business. Our placement team has been recognised as one of the best in the UK, demonstrating our commitment to the student experience. In 2022 our accounting & finance students were recognised as the global winner in the global Bloomberg challenge demonstrating our commitment to excellence. **About the Department of **Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship**

The Department of Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (DSIE) is world-class department in entrepreneurial studies. DSIE members are thought leaders in their respective domains of expertise and publish widely in top-tier journals, including _Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, British Journal of Management, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Business Venturing, _and_ Organization Science_. Moreover, members of DSIE occupy leadership positions in key professional organizations, such as the _European Academy of Management_. DSIE also runs a highly successful portfolio of UG and PG programmes and is home to a thriving student community.

For Lecturers

As a Lecturer you will participate in the planning and shaping one or more research area/s in the department of strategy, innovation and entrepreneurship. You will bring to the role a growing professional reputation, including the ability to produce world class research through publications in leading international academic journals. You will also have the opportunity to act as a leader and ambassador for us across management and enterprise or other engagement activities.

You will have experience as an educator with evidence of high-quality teaching. You will also be offered the opportunity to lead or participate in the design and development of courses and programmes at all levels (UG, MSc, MBA and Executive Education) as well as supervise doctoral students (PhD and DBA programmes).
