**Despatch Operative**

Waterfield’s Bakery is a well-established Northwest based family-owned quality bakers with 36 shops across the Northwest. We are looking to recruit a Despatch Operative to work in the despatch area within our bakery based on Manchester Road Leigh Lancashire.
- Sunday and Friday Working 8-hour shifts.
- Hours of work will be Sunday to Friday 11am - 7pm with a day off during the week to be agreed on a Rota basis along with Saturdays off. Flexibility required during seasonal times of the year and to help cover for sickness and holidays.
- Working 5 days a week, 12pm until 8pm 40 hours per week, between
- Duties will include working in a refrigerated area on occasions, packing out savoury lines to our shops & wholesale customers.
- Packing out bread, rolls & barm cakes
- Slicing/Bagging of bread
- Some heavy lifting involved
- Good reading/numeracy skills required as must be able to understand & follow packing sheet orders sufficiently.
- The successful applicant will need to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and dependable.
- Rate of pay aged 23 years older £11.44 per hour

Experience of working in a food environment would be an advantage but not

essential as full training will be provided.
