**Interested in becoming a Palliative Home Carer for Be Caring**:
Help us to shape the future of the social care sector by joining our friendly team as a Palliative Home Carer, supporting customer living within the Gateshead area.

**Pay: £20,800 (40 hours per week)**:

- Working on shifts, paid from start to finish on shifts._
- **£10.00p/hr**:

- Mileage - **40p per mile & 15p per mile for cyclists**:

- Experience is preferred but not essential as personal experience will be consider
- Up to** £450** new starter payment scheme - ask our team for more details
- We are nurse-led, our Registered Nurse (Debra) will ensure you have all of the specialist training needed to undertake you role

**Become a Day-Maker and Smile-Giver**:
You do not need a degree or care qualifications to make a good care worker. If you have a big smile that can light up the faces of our customers when you visit them at their home, then a role with Be Caring could be the right fit for you.

Each day is varied, and you will need to have a can-do attitude. Getting older does not mean we do not enjoy life and being a person who has a good sense of humour is key to providing care which is personalised and fun.

A good pair of ears are essential, listening to a lifetime of stories and taking an interest in the full lives lived by our customers is important to gaining trust and building up good rapports.

You do not need to be a world-class chef but being able to make a cuppa and learning as you go is essential, as we all love a good cuppa with a biscuit or two.

Timekeeping is an essential part of being a good care worker, you should arrive on time, always understand what the needs of the customers are and be prepared to listen - The emotional well-being of our customers is just as important as their physical health.

You do not need to be a history buff but helping our customers to relive and remember memories by being open and friendly is crucial. Chatting about family and life achievements can go along way to make someone's day.
