**Job description**

We are currently recruiting for a Recycling Operatives/ Labourers to join our dynamic team at a busy Recycling Plant in Chorley. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is ready to take on a variety of tasks to support the operations of the site.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- General ground working and labouring duties around the plant.
- Working on a moving conveyor line sorting household waste.
- Assisting with the maintenance and cleanliness of work areas.
- Supporting plant operatives with movement of materials and site setup.
- Basic site preparation and tidying - including general yard duties.
- Always adhering to strict health and safety regulations.
- Previous experience in labouring roles.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour.
- Reliable and punctual with good attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- FLT License is very desirable but not essential.

**Shifts**:

- **Shift pattern**: 8:00am-4:00pm for first two week and then night shift 10:00pm-6:00am
- **Shift pay rate**:First two weeks are paid at £12.21 per hour and then on movement to night shift it will be £13.50-£14.00 per hour

Due to the timing of the shifts and location own transport would be very advantageous.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
