Shovel Driver

We are currently seeking an experienced Shovel Driver to join a leading recycling plant in Chorley. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, where you’ll have the chance to join a growing team and secure a long-term career in the recycling industry as a Shovel Driver.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate a Shovel in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load, unload, and transport materials within the recycling plant.
- Ensure plant and machinery are maintained and report any defects or issues.
- Follow all safety guidelines and work regulations.
- Assist with other tasks around the plant when required.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience operating Shovels (or similar machinery).
- Valid and up-to-date operating license.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Reliable and punctual.

- Temp to Perm position with the opportunity to secure a permanent role.
- Monday-Friday
- 37.5 hours a week
- Morning and Afternoon shift

**Job Types**: Permanent, Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: £16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
