Are you looking for a long-term on a day shift, free parking, and attractive rates up to £10.50 per hour? We are recruiting experienced Forklift Drivers to join a major manufacturing firm.
Our client is readily accessible from the areas of Saltley, Aston and Castle Vale.
You must possess CB B1 FLT licence, ideally with a minimum of 1 year experience. Whilst not essential, an additional valid Reach or Bendi certificate would be advantageous.
The company are looking to offer long-term day shift positions, they also offering excellent amenities including a canteen and spacious working conditions. You will be dealing with automotive components, assisting as both a driver and occasionally as a manualoperative assisting with feeding the line and ensuring an efficient flow of work throughout the factory.
The hours of work for our FLT driver vacancy are:
Monday to Friday : 0800- 1700
- Official Counterbalance certification only (RTITB, ITTSAR etc)
- Moving pallets in the warehouse
- Line feeding
- Ideally some experience in a fast-moving production environment
- Ability to comfortably pass both written and practical aptitude tests using the MHE
- Happy to work mornings and afternoons if required n the future
- Good communication skills
- Team player
- Safe and responsible Counterbalance FLT Driver, practicing observation at all times
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Duties involve regular and repetitive light, medium and heavy lifting
- Operating the MHE in sometimes very narrow gangways and loading wagons within very tight deadlines
